Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day health of all venue technology: network/Wi-Fi, switches/APs, access control and CCTV, AV for events, streaming/recording, ticketing/entry scanners, member-app kiosks, POS/printers, digital signage, meeting-room displays, lighting systems, and basic electrical readiness.
- Lead pre-opening readiness and change control: UAT testing, device configuration, SOP/playbook documentation, and asset inventory management.
- Serve as the primary helpdesk owner: triage JIRA tickets, set and meet SLAs, track MTTR, and publish weekly operational reports.
- Monitor network and system uptime; run preventative maintenance routines, firmware updates, and patch cycles.
- Prepare rooms and stages for events: set up mics, mixers, projectors/displays; run soundchecks; provide real-time technical support throughout programs.
- Lead incident response for all tech issues; escalate to vendors when necessary and oversee issues through to full resolution.
- Manage vendor coordination for support, repairs, and install work; supervise on-site interventions as required.
- Surface procurement needs, quotes, and device recommendations to the Site Manager for approval.
- Maintain accurate cabling/port maps, IP/addressing documentation, and access permissions; uphold basic security hygiene across systems.
- Support POS and Club-app touchpoints, including Club Points redemption flows and device uptime.
Qualifications (Required)
- 3–5 years in IT support, field engineering, or venue technology operations, with experience managing mixed AV/IT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across: Wi-Fi/LAN, switches/APs, access control/CCTV, Windows and macOS endpoints, printers/POS, and event-grade AV (mics, mixers, projectors/displays, capture/streaming).
- Experience owning helpdesk operations (preferably JIRA): queue triage, SLA design, reporting, and asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-uptime operations and rapid incident resolution, especially during live events.
- Strong documentation discipline: SOPs, runbooks, network diagrams, cabling/port maps.
- Vendor coordination experience; hands-on first, escalate effectively when required.
- Fluent Hebrew and English (spoken and written).
- On-site in Tel Aviv, Sun–Thu (~9–5) with regular evening event coverage; on-call availability for critical issues; no travel.
- Eligible to work in Israel; no visa sponsorship available.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Certifications such as AVIXA CTS, CompTIA A+, Network+ / CCNA, or equivalent hands-on practical experience.
- Degree welcome; experience prioritized.
