Assist the team in planning, design, procurement, execution, and documentation of assigned project tasks which include renovation, upgrading, constructing or initiatives of the Bank’s premises and administrative roles
ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist the team in the preparation of obtaining Business and Procurement Approval such as Technical Governance Committee (TGC) and Procurement Committee (PC) to ensure the team can have comprehensive and appropriate content for the paper.
- To prepare design proposals under the supervision of the Supervisor including producing relevant drawings such as basic 3-dimensional perspective and draft of basic tender specification to ensure the accuracy and viability of design proposal.
- Assist the team on the tendering process including the tender advertisement, site briefing, and other administrative tasks including maintaining project documentation, organizing and updating files, coordinating meetings, and registering vendor/contractors for site visits to ensure the tendering process and site visit can be conducted smoothly and efficiently.
- Planning for basic project supervision from the commencement until handover including administrative works such as workers/vendor registration and progress meeting so that the team can closely monitor the work progress. Any issues/problems at the project site can be identified and resolved efficiently.
- Assist the Supervisor in managing the document submission such as shop drawings, method statement, and any related technical documents for audit purposes.
- Assist the Supervisor in monitoring the performance of contractors and vendors in ensuring the works meet the intended outcome including conducting performance assessments in each of their projects done for the Bank and ensuring that their capability can be recorded and evaluated at the end of the year.
- Responsible for the payment process including preparation of relevant documents such as Delivery Order, Invoice, and retention sum and ensuring the completeness of all required submissions as per contract i.e. Insurance, Performance Bond, Project Report, etc. This is to ensure all payment processes are in compliance with PMP’s requirements and within SLA.
- Assist the Supervisor in preparing and filling in the relevant form of vendor performance to ensure the vendor meets the intended outcome as expected by BNM
QUALIFICATIONS
- Academic Qualifications: Certificate in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Architectural or equivalent
- Experience: Possess 3 to 5 years working experience in construction, engineering, project management or technical administration
TECHNICAL SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE
- Basic knowledge in civil engineering
- Basic technical drawing and documentation knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS
- Good knowledge and experience in Civil Engineering works including basic knowledge of design works.
- Familiar with basic illustration software i.e. SketchUp, and/or AutoCAD.
- Has a good teamwork, communication and coordination skill.
- Capability to supervise and carry out the construction works, perform inspections and understand basic project management skill.
- Manage the documentation of all matters about the project for ease of reference.

Skills Required
