The role:
We are looking for a Product Manager with strong experience in mobile applications who understands how modern mobile products are designed, built, and published!
In this role, you’ll help shape and evolve the company’s mobile apps used for networking, communication, and event engagement. You’ll work closely with design, development, and business teams to create mobile experiences that feel effortless and meaningful to users.
You’ll be the voice of the product: listening to users, translating ideas into clear product direction, and continuously improving the experience through data, feedback, and experimentation. The ideal candidate blends strong product thinking with a deep understanding of mobile technology, UX/UI design, and emerging AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the roadmap for the company’s apps.
- Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and development tasks.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Work closely with development teams to deliver new features and improvements.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure high-quality mobile UX/UI.
- Identify usability improvements based on user feedback and product analytics.
- Rapidly test and iterate on new features to improve user engagement.
- Ensure the mobile experience is intuitive, fast, and aligned with product goals.
- Work with engineering teams on iOS and Android applications.
- Ensure the implementation of scalable mobile architectures and integrations.
- Define requirements for new features and improvements based on user needs.
- Manage features related to networking and communication between users.
- Oversee the development of RSVP functionality, event agendas, and attendee engagement tools.
- Improve features supporting social interaction, messaging, and user connections.
- Manage integrations with payment providers and third-party services.
- Work with development teams to implement and maintain API integrations.
- Ensure smooth integration between mobile applications and internal platforms.
- Manage the process of publishing applications on Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and store requirements.
- Coordinate releases, updates, and version management.
- Work closely with marketing, events, and operations teams to align product features with business needs.
- Collect and prioritize user feedback for future product improvements.
- Lead the introduction of AI tooling into mobile workflows.
- Drive the development of AI-powered mobile features such as:
- personalised event recommendations
- AI-driven matchmaking between attendees and exhibitors
- automated content summaries, translations, and highlights
- conversational interfaces and chat-based assistance - Ensure AI features follow responsible-AI principles and comply with data-privacy regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing mobile applications as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Strong understanding of mobile product development processes.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and mobile-friendly AI integrations
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles for mobile applications.
- Experience with App Store and Google Play publishing processes.
- Understanding of API integrations and third-party services.
- Experience working with user engagement and communication features in mobile products.
- Ability to translate user feedback into product improvements.
- Strong collaboration skills when working with developers, designers, and business teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working on event apps, networking platforms, or community apps.
- Familiarity with payment integrations in mobile applications.
- Understanding of analytics tools for mobile products.
- Experience with social features such as messaging, profiles, or matchmaking systems.
- Knowledge of mobile performance optimization and user retention strategies.
- Experience introducing AI tooling or delivering AI-enabled mobile features
