The End User Computing (EUC) Engineering Manager is responsible for the daily management and operations of all end user devices and peripheral equipment for the TransUnion Global Enterprise. Responsibilities include the design, architecture, and management of the end user computing platform, developing and maintaining technology standards based on industry best practices, managing a technology roadmap, and proposing and developing new solutions based on business strategy. The EUC Engineering Manager will work with the broader IT and business organization to deliver solutions, serve as a subject matter expert in end user computing technology, manage governance and compliance to the standards, and drive focus on delivering an excellent customer experience. In this hands-on technical role, the Manager's duties will include technical change management and execution, engineering thought leadership, incident management, technical troubleshooting, hiring of personnel, managing resource demand and capacity, staff performance management and talent development. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Manage global engineering staff including effective on-call scheduling, performance coaching as well as the creation of personal development plans identifying opportunities for improvement to ensure business needs are met. 

  • Proactively seek and communicate opportunities for improvement in both the operational and customer satisfaction aspects of the end-user-compute function 

  • Identify technologies which will improve customer satisfaction, reduce cost and/or improve efficiency 

  • Build and support global solutions, addressing business needs and priorities 

  • Work closely with Architecture, Operations, and Service Desk fostering an end-to-end team to build and define a 3-year strategy for TransUnion’s Global End User Compute domain. 

  • Lead Vendor Engagement model for Engineering and DeliveryConduct regular reviews with EUC partners as appropriate and manage overall Vendor management responsibility 

  • Ensures comprehensive technical documentation is consistently created, updated, and maintained, promoting clarity and accessibility for users and team members while supporting organizational standards and knowledge sharing. 

  • Create and maintain a standards catalog which lists all core end user device platform standards and/or services provided by EUC Engineering  

  • Implement and enforce security policies and standards for endpoint devices. Collaborate with information security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned/required 

How You Will Contribute  

  • Manage the End User Compute Engineering team that will be enabling and deploying the solutions that align with Architecture Design  

  • Decision maker in the EUC infrastructure design and selection process and oversee execution.  

  • Align and foster Associate device needs, working closely with Procurement, Architecture and Operations team to build domain roadmaps implementations and deliver solutions.  

  • Respond and address security vulnerabilities, regular cadence of patching of MAC, WINDOWS and IOS software. Conduct EUC infrastructure performance and address security assessments.  

  • Provide value-added solutions for business, both tactically and strategically 

  • Provides technical leadership, hands on development by inspiring your teammates to think outside the box as they deliver high quality software solutions. 

 

 

 

What You Will Bring  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.  

  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills by clearly conveying information, actively listening, and adapting messages to diverse audiences in both written and verbal formats 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. 

  • 12-16 years of experience of EUC engineering domain  

  • 5+ years management experience managing a dynamic staff consisting of both internal teams and outsourced teams 

  • 5+ years of experience in complex EUC environment 

  • Exhibits strong technical troubleshooting skills by efficiently diagnosing and resolving issues on both Windows and macOS platforms, utilizing advanced problem-solving techniques and providing clear guidance to management, engineering staff, and end users as required. 

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows and MAC OS both from a physical and virtual endpoint environment. 

  • Strong technical acumen implementing and managing:  Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Remote Desktop, M365, MAC OS in complex global enterprise 

  • Experience with implementation and operation of supporting services:  InTune, JAMF, Nerdio, Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, Manage Engine, SysTrack, Splunk 

  • 5+ years' experience in enabling End Point solutions working closely with Architecture team on strategic direction in a global environment.
