We are seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the delivery of managed IT services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology strategy for a local government client. This hands-on, technical role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environments while delivering exceptional customer service and serving as a trusted technical advisor.
*Note, this position is contingent upon contract award.
- Lead the administration and support of Microsoft 365, Windows servers, networking, and endpoint infrastructure.
- Oversee cybersecurity services including SIEM, EDR, MFA, endpoint protection, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Manage hardware lifecycle, asset inventory, warranties, deployments, and refresh planning.
- Provide technical leadership for Tier 1–3 Help Desk operations and complex client escalations.
- Monitor system performance, network health, and security while ensuring service level objectives are met.
- Support onboarding/offboarding, software licensing, vendor management, and technology reporting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by developing technology roadmaps and leading IT projects.
- Coordinate onsite support when required and mentor junior technical staff.
- 3–7 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure or Managed Services (MSP).
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Experience with firewalls, backups, disaster recovery, endpoint security, and cloud administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or security certifications are a plus.
Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
