Skills Required
- 5+ years hands-on experience with SWIFT connectivity, messaging engines, and messaging topology.
- Deep, low-level technical understanding of ISO 20022 MX message structures (pacs and camt series).
- Experience designing and validating pacs.004 (Payment Returns) and camt.056 (Resolution of Investigation/Recall) processing for inward and outward flows.
- Proven experience implementing SWIFT web-service APIs (gpi, Pre-validation, Case Management) using REST, JSON, and secure transport layers.
- Strong experience managing format transformation layers, MT-to-MX translation rules, and using validation tools such as SWIFT MyStandards.
- Familiarity integrating SWIFT messages with core banking engines, FX pricing platforms, and AML/sanctions screening systems.
- SWIFT Certified Professional or formal SWIFT/ISO 20022 training.
- Previous experience leading global messaging modernization efforts for commercial or regional hub banks.
