Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Lead automation testing initiatives during validation and system integration phases of complex product that includes SW, Hardware, algorithms, data/image processing etc. in Semiconductor equipment manufacturing space
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks for desktop applications (CodedUI, Winapp Driver), Web UI  (Selenium, Playwright), and APIs (Postman, Python Requests).
• Collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to enhance application testability and advocate best practices in code design.
• Monitor and report on automation return-on-investment, coverage, and defect trends.
• Engage in comprehensive testing activities, encompassing functional, regression, load, and system testing.
• Review software designs, change specifications, and plans to verify compliance with process requirements; uphold quality standards and documentation.
• Create and execute software test plans, analyze and author test standards and procedures, and maintain thorough documentation of test outcomes.
• Faster Defect Detection: AI/DL/ML models to identify issues sooner and more accurately.
• Design and develop techniques and solutions for Reduced Maintenance: Self-healing tests and smart frameworks cut manual work.
• Better Insights: Predictive analytics and data-driven decisions boost release quality and speed.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Proficient programming abilities in C#, Java, Python, and expertise with automation frameworks such as Nunit, TestNG, Selenium, Playwright, CodedUI, White, and Protractor.
• In-depth knowledge of communication frameworks (WCF, .NET Remoting) and familiarity with protocols/data formats (TCP/IP, JSON, XML).
• Experienced in using ALM/source control tools (Git, TFS, RTC).
• Demonstrated capability in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of QA processes, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Understanding of AI tools and technologies for Smarter Test Automation to create more adaptive and efficient test scripts using new technologies/tools like DL and AI

• Willingness to travel to customer locations for deployment or troubleshooting, which may include extended hours or weekend commitments as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
