General Summary:
The Icertis Technical Lead will define the technology strategy and drive the delivery and support of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform and related solutions. This role will partner with business stakeholders to deliver capabilities and execute on the platform roadmap that aligns with the business strategy. Additionally, the Icertis Technical Lead will maintain reliability, scalability, and compliance of the platform while providing opportunities for developing and implementing innovative solutions and integrations to meet the business needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Become a trusted partner by understanding the business needs and vision to deliver technology solutions to enable the business goals and objectives

Define, execute, and adapt the vision and strategy for the Icertis platform at Vertex across geographies, functions, and scientific disciplines

Provide insights and advise on Icertis capabilities

Work with vendors and internal business partners (Sourcing, Contracting, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to produce a product roadmap and release strategy

Manage relationships with strategic software vendors and service providers as required

Partner with Vertex users to understand processes, document, and manage business and technical requirements

Facilitate platform-related architectural reviews and develop architecture requirements (as needed) by identifying and analyzing business drivers

Serve as Technical SME for enhancements, software upgrades, implementations, and integration projects providing product expertise and quality assurance, including leading technical design sessions, configuring the platform, conducting code reviews, managing testing, etc.

Develop and maintain a life cycle plan for the ongoing maintenance and management of the Icertis platform and related solutions

Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the Icertis platform, ensuring maximum uptime, high performance, and excellent customer service

Work closely with Compliance, Internal Audit and Quality Assurance (as needed) to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations, as well as Vertex’s system lifecycle and change management requirements
Knowledge and Skills:

Experience managing the Icertis platform from a technical standpoint in a scientific environment

Experience managing integrations with external SaaS solutions to automate processes (e.g., Single Sign-On), streamline user experiences (e.g., indicative data for personalization), and enable data sharing (e.g., external reporting, etc.)

Experience with PwC’s Interactions Hub solution as it relates to integrations with the Icertis platform is a plus

Experience leading and directing the work of teams in a highly matrixed environment

Experience with running IT managed services or outsources/offshore teams

Program/project management, demand management, resource management and system lifecycle expertise

Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing technology to manage incidents and requests
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in technology discipline or equivalent
-
6 years relevant business systems in the Life Sciences industry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Flex Designation:
Hybrid-Eligible Or On-Site Eligible
Flex Eligibility Status:
In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
2. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
