The Role:
- We are seeking a technically strong Technical Implementation Engineer to support implementations of FeneVision across EMEA.
- This role combines software implementation, technical configuration, and hands-on development to support customer deployments - particularly in complex, make-to-order manufacturing environments, with focus on automation.
- In addition to core implementation responsibilities, this role will contribute to custom development, automation, and on-site technical problem solving, including working with manufacturing systems and machinery during implementation and testing phases.
- You will work closely with Functional SaaS Consultants, Senior Implementation Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure solutions are properly configured, integrated, and optimized for real-world operational environments.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize FeneVision solutions to meet customer technical requirements, including scripting, automation workflows, and integration logic (VBScript, .NET, or similar technologies)
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, data transformations, and support data migration and mapping activities
- Design and support system integrations between FeneVision, third-party applications, and customer environments
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing workflows, system integrations, and implementation efficiency
- Support automation and integration of manufacturing machinery and shop-floor systems during implementation and testing phases
- Build custom tools, extensions, and automation routines to support customer-specific requirements and EMEA delivery needs
- Participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Support rapid prototyping and development for complex or non-standard customer requirements
- Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support on-site implementation, testing, and go-live activities, working directly with customer technical teams and production environments
- Troubleshoot technical issues across application, database, integration, and automation layers, including real-time production scenarios
- Test configurations, integrations, and automation solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and production readiness
- Collaborate closely with Functional SaaS Consultants, Senior Implementation Consultants, and Project Managers to deliver successful implementations
- Create and maintain technical documentation including configurations, integrations, automation logic, scripts, and API-related details
- Support knowledge transfer across internal teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
OR equivalent professional experience - 2–5 years of software implementation, technical consulting, or development experience
- Strong experience with SQL databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
- Experience with scripting or customization (VBScript or similar)
- Experience with .NET development (desktop, web, or backend)
- Experience with system integrations, data mapping and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent German
Preferred:
- Experience in make-to-order, custom manufacturing, or configurable product environments such as windows, doors, glass, furniture, cabinetry, millwork, kitchen & bath, flooring, building materials, or similar industries
- Experience working with manufacturing systems, machinery integration, or shop-floor automation
- Experience with APIs and integration frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Experience with Git, TFS, or similar source control tools

Skills Required
- 2-3 years of experience with software implementation
- Completed Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Experience with VBScript and SQL scripting
