An amazing opportunity came up on Services & Connectivity team in Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow. We are looking for a Technical Engineering Lead to manage and develop engineering team responsible for development of innovative Aerospace dashboard products and solutions. You will leverage your technical experience and skills to guide the team in the design and build of solutions from the initial kick-off through negotiating and development, test and production phases, allowing you to expand your leadership skills and be involved with innovative technologies. You will also play a key role in architecting solutions that not only enhance operational efficiency but also contribute to safer, more fuel-efficient aircrafts.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage engineering team – employee development & motivation, drive improvements to team performance and project execution through team coaching & high impact work practices.
- Project delivery, strategy development, implementation of standards, processes, and tools
- Re-architect and transform applications into scalable microservices
- Design and build scalable systems utilizing microservices architecture. Deploy applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes. Develop APIs to facilitate secure and efficient data exchanges.
- Architect secure data management solutions with an emphasis on compliance and data security standards within a zero-trust framework using PostgreSQL and SQL Server as well as NoSQL databases.
- Work closely with systems engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects to align on project objectives, facilitating a collaborative work environment.
- University education majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- 5 and more years of experience in leadership role with proven track of leading teams to successful project delivery with significant engineering experience and proficiency in Java, Spring Boot or Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS) for backend development, ReactJS and TypeScript for frontend roles.
- Fluent command of English language.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity.
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done. A strong collaborative approach, with a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
