Key
Responsibilities:
Technical Operations & Maintenance:
· Oversee the
day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC, mechanical,
electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
· Develop, implement,
and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all building
systems and equipment.
· Perform complex
diagnostics and repairs on equipment, such as chillers, boilers, generators, HVAVs,
and building automation systems.
· Conduct regular
inspections of the property, including mechanical rooms and rooftops, to
identify and resolve issues.
· Ensure the
building's physical plant is operated in a safe, efficient, and compliant
manner at all times.
Leadership & Supervision:
· Supervise and
mentor a team of facilities engineers and maintenance technicians.
· Assign work orders,
prioritize tasks, and ensure all maintenance activities are completed in a
timely and professional manner.
· Provide training
and technical guidance to team members to develop their skills and ensure
high performance.
Compliance & Safety:
· Ensure all
engineering operations comply with relevant regulatory codes, company
policies, and safety standards.
· Adhere to and
enforce strict safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and
maintain a safe working environment.
· Work closely with
management to ensure compliance with all government regulations.
Vendor & Budget Support:
· Support the
Facilities Director in managing the departmental budget and expense planning.
· Coordinate with
external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance,
ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Assist in project
planning and execution
Any other assignment has been given by the
line manager.
RequirementsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree
in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
· Relevant
certifications (e.g., Fire Safety) are preferred.
· Minimum of 5-7
years of progressive experience in engineering and building operations.
· At least 5 years of
supervisory experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
· Experience working
with building automation systems (BAS) and Computerized Maintenance
Management Systems (CMMS).
· Ability to respond
to emergency maintenance calls after hours and work flexible hours as needed.
· English and
computer knowledge
· Strong analytical
and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and risk
mitigation.
· Ability for making
layout.
· In-depth knowledge
of complex building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and
plumbing.
· Experience working
with building automation systems (BAS) and Computerized Maintenance
Management Systems (CMMS).
· Strong leadership,
communication, and problem-solving skills.
Skills Required
