Technical Engineer II

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Anaplan Model Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Anaplan modeling and performance optimization with a deep understanding of business processes, allowing them to design, build, and implement effective Anaplan solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and refinement of Anaplan models to meet the needs of finance and supply chain functions.
• Engage with stakeholders in finance, operations, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Continuously improve and expand existing models to incorporate evolving business requirements and support organizational growth.
• Serve as the in-house Anaplan expert, offering training, guidance, and support to end-users across the organization.
• Execute data integration and process automation tasks to maintain and enhance the platform’s alignment with changing business needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize and streamline financial and supply chain planning processes, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
• Define and govern best practices for Anaplan model design, such as managing the use of sparsity, minimizing circular references, and optimizing the size of modules and lists.
• Design models for maximum performance.
• Define and own the Integration strategy from/to various systems from/to Anaplan.
• Regularly review and optimize Anaplan models for performance and areas of improvement.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and interfaces in Anaplan that meet the needs of end users and provide actionable insights.
• Document model designs, business rules, and key processes for future reference.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior model builders.

• Engineering degree in computer science, data science, IT or a related field

• Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect with a history of successful end-to-end Anaplan solution implementations.

• Strong understanding of supply chain and financial planning business processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Anaplan model building, including dashboard design, data integration, and multi-dimensional planning.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into actionable Anaplan models.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and functionality.

• Advanced Anaplan Model Builder certifications or participation in Anaplan's Advanced Model Performance Optimization Training is a plus

• Experience with any Object oriented programming language (Python, Java etc) is a must.
