We are seeking an experienced AV Training Manager - Education to lead customer education, certification programs, and technical training initiatives throughout North America and Latin America. This role is ideal for an audiovisual professional who enjoys teaching, presenting, creating educational content, and helping customers maximize the value of advanced AV technologies.

As the primary training leader for the region, you will be responsible for developing and delivering instructor-led training, certification programs, webinars, eLearning content, and technical education resources. You will also work closely with sales teams, customers, partners, and industry professionals to support product adoption and customer success.

This is a highly visible position that offers the opportunity to shape training strategy, influence customer experience, and become a recognized technical expert within the professional AV industry.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Education
  • Plan, schedule, and deliver instructor-led certification courses and technical training programs.
  • Develop and conduct customized on-site training sessions for customers, partners, and end users.
  • Deliver virtual product training and educational workshops.
  • Host webinars focused on product knowledge, technical concepts, and industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain certification standards, training materials, and educational resources.
Content Development
  • Develop and maintain online learning courses and eLearning content.
  • Create technical documentation, training guides, and instructional materials.
  • Record, edit, and publish video tutorials and training content.
  • Continuously improve educational programs to support customer success and product adoption.
Sales & Industry Engagement
  • Support sales teams with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and pre-sales consultations.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, roadshows, customer events, and industry conferences.
  • Deliver educational sessions and technical presentations to customers, consultants, and industry professionals.
Program Management
  • Manage training schedules, course planning, and educational initiatives.
  • Maintain training environments, demonstration systems, and lab equipment.
  • Track training participation, certifications, and program performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with global training teams to align curriculum, certifications, and educational strategies.
  • Assist with annual training planning and budget management.


RequirementsRequired Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the Professional AV industry or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of video signal flow, video processing, signal distribution, and AV system technologies.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical training, certification programs, or educational content.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations and supporting technical sales discussions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating video tutorials, webinars, or digital learning content.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale video processing, switching, and presentation systems.
  • Familiarity with AVIXA standards and the Professional AV ecosystem.
  • Experience presenting at industry events such as InfoComm, NAB, ISE, or similar trade shows.
  • Background in AV integration, live events, broadcast, or corporate AV environments.
  • Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms.
Education & Certifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • AVIXA CTS certification preferred.
  • Additional AV industry certifications are a plus.
Location & Travel
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area.
  • Approximately 20-30% travel required throughout North America and Latin America.
  • Occasional overnight and limited weekend travel may be necessary for customer training, trade shows, and industry events.
