Technical Consultant, Merative US LP, Ann Arbor, MI and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and participate in requirements gathering and fit/gap analysis workshops. Create technical designs for Curam extensions and customizations. Design and develop Curam extensions, including Curam Express Rules (CER), workflows, and Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG) scripts. Develop enterprise-level applications using the Curam framework, Java/J2EE technologies, evidence components, dynamic evidence, batch processing, and user interface development. Design Curam technical solutions in Java by applying design patterns and object-oriented programming principles. Design and implement security-focused configuration enhancements. Develop JUnit test cases for system testing and perform JUnit testing for Curam implementations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between actual and expected test results. Utilize the Eclipse framework to implement Curam solutions. Maintain industry-standard version control for developed software. Triage defects and utilize defect tracking tools such as Jira and Rational team concert to manage issues. Develop and execute SQL queries to access and analyze datasets within Oracle databases. Support peer reviews for technical designs, implementation plans, and related documentation. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve production-related defects in a timely manner. Design relational database tables for Curam solutions.
