The Technology Consultant collaborates with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand business, technical, and security requirements, and to map those needs to Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions. This role supports pre-sales and delivery by shaping proposals and statements of work, identifying risks and mitigations, communicating solution value, and accelerating adoption and consumption of Microsoft technologies across Cloud AI, application development, data, and agent-based solution scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the pre-sales process to understand customer business, technical, and security requirements and provide industry and technical input to shape the deal.
- Map customer and partner requirements to adopt and optimize Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions, with emphasis on Azure AI, Copilot Agents, application development, and data modernization.
- Support proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), solution architectures, staffing requirements, and delivery estimates by contributing technical guidance and reusable solution approaches.
- Identify technical and business risks across programs and projects, propose mitigations, and communicate dependencies, tradeoffs, and delivery considerations to customers and internal teams.
- Communicate the business value of planned solutions to customers and partners, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Facilitate technical workshops and customer conversations that explain architecture decisions, implementation approaches, security considerations, and expected business outcomes.
- Act as an ambassador for intellectual property (IP) reuse by leveraging, modifying, or creating repeatable content, and by providing feedback to improve Industry Solutions offerings and scale delivery quality.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in a relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
- At least one active Azure AI certification, such as Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), or equivalent Azure AI certification.
- Knowledge of developing Copilot Agents using both low-code approaches, such as Copilot Studio, and pro-code approaches using Azure AI services, APIs, or custom application development.
- Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders in written and verbal business environments.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- 3+ years leadership experience in a relevant area of business.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data and analytics services.
- 1–2 years of practical experience using Microsoft Fabric components, Azure AI Search, GitHub Copilot, and developer productivity tools to design, build, or accelerate AI solutions delivery.
- 2-3 years of practical experience developing PowerApps, Microsoft Copilot low-code and pro-code agents.
- Delivery management experience applying agile, Scrum, or project management practices in customer-facing engagements.
- Medium Portuguese communication skills for customer and partner conversations across LATAM.
