Job Description
At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of analysts. We’re seeking a Business Analyst who is ready to work with new technologies and architecture in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries.
Objectives of this role
- Drive cross-functional awareness of requirements and identify inefficiencies in systems processes using data and trend analysis.
- Lead strategic thinking on technical business processes, developing systems prototypes to enhance efficiency and productivity across multiple levels.
- Ensure thorough quality assurance throughout systems development lifecycle.
- Define and refine user requirements for complex software development processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to conduct analyses and produce documentation, fostering effective communication.
- Continuously evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements, maintaining systems processes and providing status reports to relevant parties.
- Monitor and research postproduction deployments, prove to stakeholders that the implemented solution works.
- Author and maintain internal and external documentation, including formal delivery of requirements.
- Perform systems analytics to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners for seamless systems integration, addressing inquiries and issues from managers, business users and SMEs with well-researched recommendations.
Required skills and qualifications
- 4 or more years of experience in analytics and systems development.
- Payments experience is a must.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Extensive experience with Atlassian tools – JIRA and Confluence.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Visio.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record.
- Experience in creating process documentation and reports.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology or computer science.
- Demonstrated project management and user testing abilities.
- Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Working knowledge of GitLab.
