Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.
With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Customer Service Thailand, this is a critical role within the Thailand market, requiring close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders across the end-to-end supply chain. The primary objective is to serve as the Technical Supply Business Partner, supporting the successful delivery and commercialization of innovation and brand change initiatives that drive market growth. The role requires expertise in packaging supplier and third-party producer performance management, ensuring capabilities and operational excellence are aligned with business objectives. In addition, the position provides specialist leadership in governance areas including Health & Safety, Wellbeing, Quality, Environmental Sustainability, Supply Audits, Risk Management, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Commercial, and Supply teams to deliver new product launches, product renovations, and brand change projects, ensuring seamless supply execution from project initiation through to product availability in the market.
- Provide technical and supply chain recommendations to support project decision-making on sourcing strategies, route-to-market optimization, cost efficiency, economies of scale, packaging solutions, and project timelines.
- Lead packaging development, validation, and testing activities to ensure product integrity, quality, and consumer satisfaction.
- Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives from a technical supply perspective.
- Serve as the market Health & Safety Champion, delivering communications, training, and capability-building programs in collaboration with the Regional Health & Safety team.
- Lead key governance and technical compliance initiatives within the Thailand market.
- Ensure all supported manufacturing partners, including local third-party producers and packaging suppliers, operate in compliance with local regulatory requirements, environmental standards, health and safety regulations, Diageo Global Risk Management Standards, Operational Excellence Standards, and relevant compliance and ethics policies.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure consistent delivery, quality, sustainability, and compliance with business expectations.
Experience / skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience across governance, quality, technical operations, and supply chain functions, ideally within the beverage, alcoholic drinks, FMCG, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proven experience in Quality Management, Innovation & Brand Change, and Project Management.
- Manufacturing operations experience is preferred; distilling and/or bottling experience would be an added advantage.
- Governance auditing experience and/or auditor certification are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and financial literacy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels and external partners.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted business partner, influencing decisions and collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
