The Role

As a Technical Author you will work inside the R&D, Design and UX/UI Departments, familiarising yourself with the technology and establishing connections with the individual contributors responsible for these technologies. The Technical authors also form part of the product team, using their knowledge of user experience and workflows to shape product development.

This is a hybrid role, with a compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

Key responsibilities include assisting end users, drafting technical material for various audiences, and collaborating with translators for multi-language support. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Assisting end users on our technology
  • Documentation reviews and providing feedback

We are looking for candidates with experience in technical authorship, effective communication skills for complex ideas, and a sharp eye for detail. If you have a passion for detail, strong analysis skills, and a continual improvement mindset, we want to hear from you. Join us in creating impactful technical documents and enhancing user experiences in the technology sector. Additionally you may have: 

  • Previous experience in technical authorship, either from software or scientific industries,
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively,
