This person does not need to be a hands-on test engineer, but should be comfortable discussing technologies such as PCIe, USB, and Ethernet etc with engineering customers, understanding their challenges, and connecting those needs with the appropriate testing or engineering services.

Experience in the test & measurement or independent testing laboratory industry would be a significant advantage, particularly for candidates who already understand the Silicon Valley semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts. The role is expected to include approximately 30% business development / new opportunity creation in addition to account management responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces such as:
    • PCI Express (PCIe)
    • USB / USB4
    • HDMI
    • Displayport
    • Ethernet, and so on

  • Ability to understand customer product development cycles and translate technical requirements into appropriate testing, validation, compliance, interoperability, or engineering service opportunities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a role that combines account ownership with proactive business development.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites within the Bay Area and occasionally outside the region as required.

Highly Preferred

  • Previous sales or account management experience with a test laboratory, test & measurement equipment manufacturer, semiconductor company, or related engineering services organization.
  • Existing relationships or experience working with semiconductor, computing, data center, networking, automotive, or consumer electronics companies in Silicon Valley.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance and certification ecosystems such as PCI-SIG, USB-IF, Ethernet/IEEE, or other high-speed interface standards organizations.
  • Experience selling technical services or solutions involving electrical compliance testing, protocol testing, interoperability testing, validation, or high-speed signal integrity.
