What Will You Be Doing?
As an Account Manager, you will act as a trusted technical and commercial partner to customers across Finland, supporting them throughout the product development lifecycle from initial design concept through to production.
Working closely with customers, supplier partners and our Field Application Engineering teams, you will identify opportunities to introduce innovative technologies and secure design wins that create long-term business growth.
You will:
- Develop strong relationships with design engineers, R&D teams, procurement teams and technical decision-makers.
- Identify and support customer projects from concept and design through to production.
- Promote Avnet Abacus' portfolio of products and line card to customers.
- Work closely with Field Application Engineers to identify and secure design opportunities.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to help customers select the most appropriate solutions for their needs.
- Drive growth within existing accounts while identifying new opportunities across the Finnish market.
- Collaborate with supplier partners to support customers with product selection, technical requirements and future technology roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain account plans, sales forecasts and customer growth strategies.
- Build long-term partnerships by understanding customers' technical challenges and business objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience working within the electronics industry, semiconductor industry or electronic component distribution.
- Strong technical understanding of electronic components and their applications.
- Ability to confidently engage with engineers, technical specialists and design teams.
- Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative approach to customer engagement and problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple customer projects and priorities.
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience within technical sales, account management or field sales.
- Experience working with electronic component manufacturers or distributors.
- Knowledge of passives, interconnect and electromechanical.
- Experience achieving design wins and supporting customers through the design cycle.
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing and supply chain environments.
