The Opportunity
The Tech Lead, Sales Technology is a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and integrating capabilities that connect the B2B Sales technology ecosystem. This role drives technical solutioning across sales data, workflow, agentic orchestration, content enablement, marketing activation, commercial intelligence, and CRM-adjacent experiences. The role partners with product, architecture, data and analytics, AI / Agentic capabilities, Salesforce, Seismic, UX, QA, DevSecOps, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, human-centered solutions that improve seller productivity and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical design and development for B2B Sales solutions that connect data, workflow, seller experience, AI-enabled recommendations, and enterprise platforms.
  • Create architectural specifications, solution designs, integration diagrams, API/data-flow designs, technical stories, estimates, and implementation plans for complex B2B capabilities.
  • Design and guide integrations across US Data Hub, Salesforce/GB360, Seismic, MetIQ, Teams/Outlook, Marketo, Power BI, Power Automate, underwriting, pricing, and other ecosystem platforms.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, Data and Analytics, Functional Analysts, QA, DevSecOps, and vendors to translate business outcomes into secure, scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead hands-on development and technical implementation using modern cloud, API, workflow, data, and application patterns appropriate to the solution scope.
  • Evaluate API, event, batch, data virtualization, microservice, agentic workflow, and human-in-the-loop design options, documenting tradeoffs, risks, constraints, and recommended paths.
  • Lead peer reviews of solution designs, code/configuration, test strategies, automated tests, security controls, deployment plans, and production support approaches.
  • Support AI-first and Agile delivery by enabling rapid prototyping, measured pilots, production hardening, stage-gated transition to scaled operations, and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve complex production incidents, integration failures, data issues, performance concerns, defects, and technical debt across the connected sales ecosystem.
  • Mentor and guide developers, configurators, integration engineers, and vendor partners on technical standards, reusable patterns, quality practices, and maintainability.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging integration, cloud, AI, workflow, data, and seller-experience technologies that could improve B2B Sales outcomes.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and building enterprise-scale applications, platforms, APIs, integrations, data flows, or workflow solutions.
  • Experience leading enterprise architecture, solution design, and target-state architecture definition for complex, multi-system technology ecosystems.
  • Experience defining technical roadmaps, architectural tradeoffs, implementation sequencing, and transition plans that move solutions from current state to target state.
  • Experience with API and integration architecture, including REST APIs, event-based integration, microservices, batch/ETL/ELT, streaming, middleware, data virtualization, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong system design skills, including scalability, resilience, observability, performance, security, governance, production readiness, and supportability considerations.
  • Experience translating business capabilities into technical designs, implementation plans, technical stories, estimates, test approach, and release readiness criteria.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams, including developers, integration engineers, data engineers, QA, DevSecOps, architects, vendors, and product partners.
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery, including backlog refinement, PI/sprint planning, demos, release planning, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and technical debt remediation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to explain technical tradeoffs to business, product, architecture, vendor, and engineering partners.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce ecosystem understanding, including CRM data models, integration patterns, platform constraints, and alignment with headless CRM or CRM-adjacent experiences.
  • Experience with data platform architecture and engineering patterns across Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI Foundry, Azure services, or comparable enterprise data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with modern application development using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Node.js, Spring Boot, React, or comparable enterprise development technologies.
  • Experience designing AI-enabled and agentic workflow architectures, including human-in-the-loop patterns, orchestration, decision support, governance, and operational controls.
  • Experience with Seismic and sales-enablement integrations, including content activation, seller workflow, recommendations, analytics, or CRM-connected enablement use cases.
  • Experience with MCP-based data access architecture, tool/data governance, agentic access patterns, and vendor evaluation, including build-versus-buy assessment.
  • Experience with Marketo, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or comparable commercial sales and data platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise data foundations, semantic layers, customer/account identity, scoring, next-best-action, recommendation engines, or AI-assisted workflow patterns.
  • Experience in insurance, group benefits, commercial sales, sales enablement, marketing activation, underwriting, pricing, broker/customer platforms, or CRM transformation.
  • Azure, SAFe for Teams, SAFe Scrum Master, MuleSoft, API management, cloud architecture, DevOps, or security certification.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $122,950 - $181,800 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
