Maxxia is part of the McMillan Shakespeare Group (MMSG), Australia's largest provider of salary packaging and novated leasing, and collectively we provide expertise in novated leasing, salary packaging, associated Fringe Benefits Tax administration and management, operating leases and asset management for ‘tool of trade’ vehicles and other business assets, retail finance, insurance and warranty.
In your full time permanent role of Sales Manager leading a team of Leasing Consultants, you will be responsible for actively leading, managing and contributing to the success of your team.
Your sales management experience will enable you to provide sales coaching, guidance and improve sales performance and productivity across your business unit.
The position is critical to the company’s future direction and the desire to be the market leader with a structured sales driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor your team on on a daily basis, as well as regular one on one catch ups and annual performance reviews
- Highlight excellent sales achievements and positively reinforce desirable behaviours in line with MMS Values
- Build on an already motivated, committed and productive team
- Identifies training needs and coordinate appropriate training to support individuals who need extra support
- Develops and implement sales strategies that ensure that all sales targets are achieved in-line with budget expectations
- Daily workflow management - lead allocation
- Monitor and measures WIP levels allocated to sales consultants and the successful delivery of tasks
- Continually evaluate sales process and looks at call flow and scripting
- Lead your team to achieve daily, monthly and annual KPI targets
- Assists with escalated calls, complaints and quality issues.
- Maintains positive working relationships with key Fleet stakeholders, Salary Packaging stakeholders and Senior Management
- Work with dealerships and manufacturers to actively and positively promote our organisation, on a reputational and financial basis.
- Have a keen eye for enhancement of existing business processes and systems to support the delivery of excellent customer outcomes
You will bring:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in sales management preferably in a telephony sales discipline
- Track record of achieving sales targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in people management
- Experience in salary packaging or novated leasing is advantageous but not essential
