Our Business Unit Gasket Plate Heat Exchanger ( BU GPHE ) objective is to be the undisputed #1 in all geographical areas and industries. To achieve this GCC Lund is playing a key role (Global Core Components). We are looking for a passionate Team Manager MTS with strong technical background to our Gasket Plate Heat exchanger team in Lund.
So, what are you going to do today?
GCC Alfa Laval in Lund is one of 3 plate producing supply sites in the world within Product Group Gasketed Plate Heat exchangers. The two others are in China and India
About the role
As Team Manager MTS you will be responsible for Team Members.
Your key responsibilities will be

As process owner be responsible for:
- safety of the people, processes and manufactured/delivered products
- quality + Q-system
- delivery
- cost
-
Responsible for make to stock order flow team & Performance.

Secure raw material availability, inventory levels.
-
Secure finish plates & gaskets availability, target service levels, IDS for stocked articles.

Responsible for implementing Heijunka / VMI / Kanban both for raw material and in house manufacturing.

Secure machine utilization
-
Responsible for developing competencies in line with MTS competence matrix.

Drive SCOR processes and implement Improvements together with Track process owner.

Responsible for VMI performance and regular follow up with customers

As owner secure the quality, via SOP audit dialogues, and execution of the SOPs

By own presence drive performance of the team and employees
-
Be responsible for own cost account, P4
-
Drive performance meetings, improvement meetings and related activities
-
Be a link between the factory and support functions for daily issues
-
Control of quality, deviations
-
Provide the team with relevant information
-
Set and follow up targets for the team and each employee, broken down from unit level

Perform audits according to ALPS
Who you are

What you know

We believe you have several years working experience leading others within the areas of Plan, Source and Deliver.

Experience from improvement tools, e g 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SCOR
-
Knowledge and hands on experience of Inventory Management and Lean Manufacturing

Production finance expertise
-
Hands on ERP experience preferably in D365
-
Demonstrated experience of working with continuous improvement and change management

You have a graduate degree in Supply Chain domain or equivalent knowledge

Strong analytic skills
-
Fluency in written and verbal English and Swedish are required
