- Lead the day-to-day operations of a team responsible for curating, reviewing, and maintaining Chinese researcher profiles.
- Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure delivery against quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members and support their ongoing development.
- Ensure consistent application of editorial policies, curation rules, and workflow procedures across all profile curation activities.
- Use Chinese language expertise to support accurate interpretation of researcher names, affiliations, publications, and related metadata.
- Guide the team in handling profile complexities, identity resolution issues, and data quality exceptions related to Chinese profiles.
- Monitor output quality, identify gaps or error patterns, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
- Maintain team statistics, operational reports, and performance updates as required.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members for Chinese profile curation work.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve workflow issues, clarify policies, and support operational delivery.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve workflow efficiency, quality control, and consistency of researcher profile data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in content operations, data curation, editorial operations, or a similar environment.
- Prior team handling or supervisory experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written Chinese, with good command of English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in researcher profile curation, scholarly metadata, or bibliographic content operations.
- Familiarity with Chinese researcher data, affiliations, and name-disambiguation challenges.
