Team Leader RF Hardware Engineer

As a Team Leader RF Hardware Engineer, you'll be in charge of the design, fabrication and test of the RF Instrumentation rack. You will supervise the team and your expertise will significantly shape Alice & Bob’s commitment to a culture of technical brilliance. We are looking for a highly experienced Engineer in High Frequency instrumentation to consolidate the integration of the various electronic instruments (RF DC, etc.) needed to control our quantum processors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical relevance of the solutions chosen, in compatibility with the physicists, software and suppliers.
• Take ownership of this fully transversal company project.
• Supervision team
• To lead and plan the various integration phases, from design to obsolescence, including maintaining the equipment in operational condition.
• He ensures the technical viability. It guides the design to make it coherent, efficient and relevant..

Requirements

• Technical expertise in RF, Microwave, metrology, low power environment/noisy electronics
• Experience with test benches and measurement systems; working with test such as Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Power Meters, Signal Generators
• Demonstrated experience in designing RF electronics boards and manufacture of instruments incorporating high performance RF PCBs
• Technical leadership experience
• Deep understanding of design patterns, systems & SW architecture
• Test & Test procedure definition V&V plan
• Experience writing and maintaining production code for large systems – Strong Advantage
• Professional English
• B.Sc. or higher degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in Electronics test equipment
• Nice to have: familiarity with Python programming, Experience with Cryogenic, Quantum, Professional French
