Purpose of the role
As the Team Leader of the Travel Data Analyst group, you will guide a team responsible for implementing, integrating, and maintaining high-quality travel content data and feature activation for customer systems. You will ensure high standards in operations, data integrity, and continuous improvement in processes, while acting as the primary point of contact for collaboration and issue resolution across teams. Your guidance will support the team’s performance, encourage professional growth, and contribute to strategic business objectives in the travel content domain.
In this role you'll:
Guide, support, and develop a team of Travel Data Analysts, providing direction, training, and feedback.
Allocate resources, set priorities, and ensure timely achievement of team goals and project milestones.
Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Support the implementation and integration of travel content data from various providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate the resolution of data issues and provide operational assistance during implementations.
Specific Accountabilities
Oversee the integration of travel content data from various providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Supervise data quality checks, audits, and monitoring activities to maintain the integrity of product-related databases and customer environments.
Coordinate the resolution of data issues and incident management, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
Act as the primary liaison between the team, internal stakeholders (Research and Development, Product Management, Delivery Management), and external partners or customers.
Communicate identified risks and achievements to management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
About the Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in data analysis, content management, or related roles, including experience in a supervisory capacity.
Good understanding of the travel industry, hotel distribution, Global Distribution System (GDS) environment, and content management activities.
Experience in team management and project management.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in additional languages valued.
Open to work in a hybrid set-up.
