Location: Bogota (Hybrid Scheme: 2 days in the office)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software features using JavaScript, Node.js, XML, and TypeScript.
- Lead a team of developers, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
- Balance coding tasks with team management, including coaching and mentoring.
- Collaborate with QA, Product, and leadership to align priorities.
- Oversee code quality, technical design, and system performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and Agile adoption within the team.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a lead role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, XML, and TypeScript.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage distributed teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Nice to have: C++, Airline domain experience.
Fluent in English: Interviews will be held in this language.
