Are you passionate about driving results through data, technology and processes? We are looking for a talented and motivated Team Lead Marketing Operations to join our team and help us become a best-in-class marketing organization.

As the Team Lead Marketing Operations, you will play a crucial role in identifying, managing and optimizing tools. You will enhance dashboards and processes to streamline work and deliver results. Your efforts will create efficiency and effectiveness, providing valuable insights on performance through advanced reporting and analytics.

In this role, you will work independently and collaboratively to develop, implement, and lead strategies that create operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include onboarding employees with our systems, managing process workflow, overseeing project timelines, utilizing project management systems, handling vendor relations and contracts, and managing service level agreements. Additionally, you will continuously seek strategies for improvement to keep our operations ahead of the curve.

What you will do

  • Leads efforts surrounding customer and prospect data management, data integrity, lead generation scoring models and account-based marketing (ABM) optimization.

  • Provides insights by managing, analyzing and reporting on target segment penetration, campaign conversion, lead attribution and marketing funnel management to determine performance, ROI and business impact of marketing activities

  • Identifies and implements core technologies, applications and tools to drive operational excellence.

  • Create repeatable, consistent practices and processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness for go-to-market (GTM) activities.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in key projects.

  • Reviews timelines, optimizing and implementing improvements as needed.

  • Assists in the development of training processes and resources for new Marketing and Communications staff and internal partners.

  • Communicates scope of services to leadership and program areas, forecasting capacity and resources needed.

  • Supports and ensures standardization of Marketing and Communications team and internal client project management practices across the account and creative teams.

  • Responds and develops solutions to Marketing and Communications and client operations concerns.

  • May manages vendors and freelancers.

  • Maintains a system for tracking Marketing and Communications equipment and supplies.

  • Assists in Marketing and Communications budget tracking, expenditures, and procurement needs.

  • Oversees the management of company trademarks including tracking current trademarks, renewals, and acquires new trademarks as needed.

  • Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, strategic communications, business management, IT, or related field Preferred

Required Experience

  • 5 years of operational support professional background.

  • Experience providing both day-to-day operational management and high-level strategic decision making that contributes to organizational success.

  • Experience initiating and implementing plans, processes, and metrics.

  • Hands-on involvement in management of the production of print and digital marketing projects (print, digital, video).

  • Experience managing vendors to ensure efficiencies in time and cost as well as quality of production.
