Position Overview
Job Description: Team Lead Data Engineer(6-10 Years Experience)
Location: India, Hyderabad
Experience Required: 6-8 years
Key Responsibilities
Should be able to lead the team, work around escalations
Assign and manage the workloads /backlogs
Mentor and guide the team
Technically assist the team, to identify and fix the issues
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex MS SQL Server / PostgreSQL/Snowflake queries, including nested and correlated queries.
Create and manage stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support business applications.
Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring adherence to normalization and E-R flow principles.
Apply strong DDL and DML concepts to build efficient, scalable, and secure database structures.
Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database logic and optimize performance.
Troubleshoot database issues, tune queries, and ensure high data accuracy and consistency.
Required Skills
Hands-on expertise in writing complex SQL queries (nested, correlated, advanced joins), Snowflake experience good to have
Strong experience with stored procedures and functions in SQL or PostgreSQL.
Deep understanding of database concepts: normalization, E-R modeling, DDL, and DML.
Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good to have GenAI (GitHub CoPilot or similar) , with DB Client Tools (VSCode, SSMS etc.)
