The Tax Specialist, India & ANZ will oversee and manage all tax-related matters for IFF’s Food Ingredients business in India and ANZ ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations. This role will be responsible for tax planning, tax reporting, managing tax audits and providing tax advisory support to the business.
How you will contribute
- Ensure IFF tax compliance obligations for India and ANZ are met by supporting data collection, reviewing tax returns before submission, and partnering with tax advisors to ensure timely filing of the returns.
- Oversee the tax provision process for countries within your area of responsibility.
- Act as the primary tax point of contact for tax advisors and local tax authorities on tax audits and other tax-related matters.
- Partner with the business to provide tax advice and communicate changes in tax legislation and their impact.
- Identify tax efficiencies and planning opportunities and support their implementation.
- Support the transfer pricing team in monitoring transfer pricing policies, implementing transfer pricing processes, liaising with stakeholders on transfer pricing adjustments, and ensuring compliance with local transfer pricing requirements.
- Contribute to global tax planning initiatives and M&A projects.
- Recommend improvements to tax-related systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Identify tax risks and ensure compliance with IFF's tax governance and risk management frameworks.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
- B.Com/Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification with 5 to 7 years of professional experience, including experience in an accounting firm and/or a multinational organization.
- Must have strong accounting and tax knowledge.
- Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-country and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing tax audits and supporting dispute resolution processes.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively.
- A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset with a willingness to embrace and drive change.
- A collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and build strong partnerships within and beyond the tax function.

The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredient business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners.
