Go beyond tax research - turn complex tax legislation into real-world solutions that help organisations stay compliant, adapt quickly and thrive.

About the role:

We're looking for a curious and analytical Tax Research Analyst to join our growing team. Tax legislation is constantly evolving, and you'll play a key role in monitoring, analysing and interpreting tax and regulatory developments across the U.S. and Canada, helping us stay ahead of the curve.

You'll be at the heart of understanding how changes in payroll tax, finance and regulatory requirements impact our FSCM and HCM applications. Working closely with Global Tax Legal & Regulatory, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other cross-functional teams, you'll turn complex legislation into clear, actionable insights that keep our products, systems and processes compliant and up to date.

You'll have the opportunity to work across different areas of tax and regulation, influence how requirements are understood and implemented, and contribute to continuous improvement, in a dynamic remote environment.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, digging into legislation and making complicated information easy to understand, you'll thrive in this role.

What you’ll be doing:

Here’s where you’ll make your mark:

  • Monitor and interpret tax laws, regulations, and policies across U.S. federal, state, and local jurisdictions, as well as Canada
  • Research legislative and regulatory changes and assess their impact on payroll, tax, finance, and related applications
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery, and Support teams to ensure compliant and timely system updates
  • Provide clear, actionable guidance on tax and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare documentation outlining legislative changes, business impacts, and required system/process updates
  • Track upcoming regulatory changes and support compliance activities
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams.

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and turning regulatory change into practical business understanding. You'll be naturally curious, detail-oriented and comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in U.S. legislative analysis, payroll tax, legal compliance, or regulatory affairs
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax, legal, and regulatory frameworks; Canadian regulatory experience is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory information into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with ERP systems such as FSCM and HCM is desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.

Tax legislation never stands still, and neither do we.

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying ahead of change, asking the right questions and helping turn regulatory complexity into practical action.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
