About us
Flutter, the world’s largest online sports betting and iGaming group listed on the London and New York stock exchanges, is home to the Southern Europe & Africa (SEA) region, featuring iconic brands like Sisal, Snai and PokerStars, a globally loved brand that embodies innovation and ambition, with significant growth potential in a dynamic market.
Your team
You will join the SEA Tax team within Flutter International, supporting multiple jurisdictions (Italy, Malta, Turkey, Morocco, Albania and other SEA markets as the Region evolves). The team partners closely with Group Tax and Group Finance to deliver quarterly and year-end tax reporting under IFRS and US GAAP, maintain a strong control environment (SOX/Group controls), and provide clear insights on tax rate drivers, cash tax and emerging risks.
Your role
As Tax Reporting Manager, you will own end-to-end tax reporting for the SEA Region. You will coordinate tax reporting packs across entities, prepare and review current and deferred tax positions, support statutory and consolidated reporting, and act as a key interface with Group Tax Reporting, external auditors and local finance teams. You will also drive process improvements, data quality and governance across the reporting cycle.
What you’ll do:
Own the SEA tax reporting calendar (quarterly and annual close) and ensure timely, accurate submissions to Group Tax Reporting and Group Finance.
Prepare and review tax provision numbers (current and deferred tax) in line with IAS 12 and Group accounting policies; support US GAAP/ASC 740 reporting where required.
Coordinate and challenge inputs from local finance teams and external advisors, ensuring data quality, consistency and robust supporting documentation.
Prepare effective tax rate (ETR) bridge commentary, key disclosures and reconciliations; provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Support statutory accounts and tax disclosures, working with external auditors and local statutory teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain and improve tax reporting processes, templates, controls and evidence, driving standardization and automation where possible.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Business) on initiatives impacting tax reporting (reorgs, M&A integration, new products, system changes).
What you’ll bring:
6–8 years of overall experience in Tax (Big 4 and/or in-house) within a multinational environment, with demonstrated experience in tax accounting/reporting (or in the audit/review of tax reporting), and strong exposure to close processes and stakeholder management.
Technical understanding of income tax accounting under IAS 12; familiarity with US GAAP/ASC 740 is a plus.
Experience across the key areas of tax reporting and tax accounting (e.g., current tax, deferred tax, ETR analytics, disclosures), gained either through hands-on preparation, review or advisory support.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax matters, challenge data quality, and ensure consistency of outputs.
Strong execution and planning mindset: able to prioritize, coordinate multiple workstreams/countries and deliver under close deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required. Ability to translate technical topics into clear, actionable messages for non-tax stakeholders..

What We Do
Sisal, the first Italian company granted a state concession for gaming, was founded in 1945 thanks to the vision and intuition of three sport journalists. Over 75 years, we have fostered a relationship of trust and credibility with stakeholders, promoting gaming design and management with an approach based on expertise, transparency and safety, guaranteeing full compliance with regulation standards. Our development is structured around three strategic guidelines: Innovation, Internationalisation and Responsibility. Innovation means developing skills, technologies and processes - all key factors for digital transformation. This focus on innovation has also inspired us to strengthen corporate functions that deal with technological development and online business, with a large-scale program to recruit new talent. The internationalisation process launched in 2018 has led us to countries with great potential, including Turkey, Morocco, Spain, and continues with the selection new markets where our business can expand. Sisal has made a real commitment to promoting a sustainable business model: protecting players through a Sustainable Gaming program certified to the highest international standards, valuing our people by supporting their professional development and implementing initiatives to improve the work-life balance, and supporting the community to generate shared value for all. Responsible gaming is in our DNA and it holds the key to our future.
