Tax Quality and Risk Management (TQRM)
TQRM is part of RSM's National Office of Risk Management, and it is responsible for establishing and monitoring RSM tax policies and assisting tax teams concerning these policies, professional standards for the tax practice, engagement letters, and other risk management related matters.

Role and Responsibilities

  • To provide support to the TQRM team in the execution of initiatives across RSM Canada, by:
  • Participating in the Annual Tax Inspections process as mandated by RSM International
  • Regularly executing and reporting on ad hoc Risk and Compliance projects assigned
  • Developing and regularly updating annual control plan of compliance with Tax policies
  • Assisting in developing TQRM training materials
  • Actively participating in TQRM team meetings

Education / Experience

  • Accounting or Project Management background
  • Previous experience in professional services or Risk Management is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree expected shortly – Accounting degree preferred

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $43,162 - $51,500
