Position Summary
1. Reports national and regional tax and aggressively pursues opportunities to responsibly reduce our tax expense.
2. Reviews domestic/foreign tax issues, transfer pricing policy and establishes countermeasures to reduce the tax risks.
Role and Responsibilities
1. [Tax report] Manage to report national tax (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.) and local tax according to tax laws.
2. [Transfer pricing management] Manage to establish a global transfer pricing strategy for our company and supervise to manage transfer prices by concluding APA, etc.
3. [Tax examination] Examine tax related issues home and abroad and decide to establish a response measure.
4. [Responding to tax investigation and law revision] Respond to a tax investigation when domestic and overseas investigations initiate. Manage to reflect changes in our businesses when a tax law is revised.
Skills and Qualifications
• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks
• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing
• Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years
