Indirect Tax: Manage VAT compliance processes, including returns, intra-community reporting, and transaction-level reviews.
International Tax: Contribute to preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation, local files, master file inputs, and CbCr reports.
Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on global and local tax changes (e.g., Pillar 2, DAC6, BEPS), assessing their impact on compliance and reporting.
Audit Readiness: Maintain and improve tax control processes and documentation to ensure audit preparedness.
Tax Provisioning: Work with Finance to ensure accurate tax provisioning and alignment between tax and accounting treatment.
Process Improvement: Drive internal improvements that enhance efficiency and data quality in tax reporting.
Advisory: Advise on tax aspects of new deals, business models, and market entries, balancing compliance with commercial needs.
Project Support: Contribute to tax projects such as implementing the global tax strategy and aligning processes across jurisdictions.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
Master’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline, or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ADIT).
5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a Big 4 or multinational environment.
Strong track record in CIT and VAT compliance, with exposure to international tax compliance.
Solid understanding of tax accounting concepts, reconciliations, and filing processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred:
In-house experience or ability to independently manage tax matters across jurisdictions.
Proficiency in Dutch and/or another EU language.
Strong Excel and data-handling skills; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
Exposure to ESG-linked tax considerations, Pillar 2 reporting, or tax governance.
Knowledge of Dutch and/or US tax law, and understanding of OECD transfer pricing guidelines.
