We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager (Compliance) to join our Corporate Services team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of corporate tax compliance for our clients, with the flexibility to provide support to the accounting team as required. The role may also include acting as manager or director on client entities, depending on experience and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit corporate tax returns in accordance with Luxembourg regulations
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all local tax laws and statutory obligations
- Liaise with Luxembourg tax authorities and external stakeholders on compliance matters
- Identify and assess potential tax risks within client portfolios
- Support the accounting team with queries and tasks as needed
- Assist management with ad hoc tax-related compliance projects
- Act as manager or director on client entities, as may be required
- VAT experience would be considered an asset
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Extensive experience in corporate tax compliance, ideally in Luxembourg
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate tax risks within client portfolios
- Familiarity with other Luxembourg tax reporting (e.g. VAT) is advantageous
- Sound understanding of general accounting principles and ability to assist with accounting tasks
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Fluent in English and French; additional languages are an asset
