We are seeking a Tax Compliance & Financial Analysis professional to support sales tax and property tax compliance while assisting with financial analysis activities, including cash flow projections and annual budget preparation. This role may be structured at a mid‑level or senior level depending on experience.
This job will be located at the company's Corporate office in Opelousas, LA.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and administer the sales tax engine (Vertex), including submitting transactional data files.
- Review and approve Vertex generated sales tax returns (Vertex files the returns).
- Ensure ongoing compliance with sales and property tax regulations through research and review.
- Prepare property tax reporting and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with the external accounting firm for income tax filings.
- Assist with cash flow projections, annual budget preparation, and ongoing financial analysis.
- Manage a limited set of routine intercompany transactions.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Competitive salary available for candidates able to work independently; development opportunities offered for less‑experienced candidates.
QualificationsQualifications- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in accounting, tax, compliance, or financial analysis.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Vertex or Avalara is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Power BI is a plus.
