Tax Associate - Mexico City Office
This role requires a motivated and ambitious lawyer or accountant to work within the Tax team in our Mexico office.
We are looking for mid-level Associate candidates who have meaningful experience in tax advisory and consulting matters. The practice is focused exclusively on non-contentious tax work, including domestic and international tax planning, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions from a tax perspective, transfer pricing, and general tax advisory services. Candidates should have at least four years of post-qualification experience and a strong technical foundation in tax law and/or accounting principles. Experience advising both domestic and multinational clients is highly valued.

Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes
- Minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in tax advisory and consulting; experience in tax controversy or litigation is not required
- Strong knowledge of domestic tax law and familiarity with international tax principles, including tax treaties and cross-border structuring
- Ability to understand complex tax and legal principles and apply them in a practical and commercial context
- A high level of oral and written communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to quickly establish relationships at all levels

- Law degree and/or accounting degree from an accredited institution
- Admitted to practice as a lawyer and/or licensed as a public accountant (CPA or equivalent), as applicable
