The Tax Associate reports to the Team Leader and works closely with the other Tax Associates and Senior Associates. The position is responsible for the preparation and review of tax returns, including ensuring all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Tax return preparation: Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns including preparation of work papers; preparation of tax projections and related estimates; analyze client information; perform tax research.
• Research tax issues and assist with tax audits
• Assist with general administrative functions of the clients’ tax departments
• Special projects, as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in tax preparation (1-2 years of experience will do)
• Knowledge of U.S. federal income tax
• Must have excellent math and computer skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel; work experience using tax preparation software and applications preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with tax team and clients.
• Conversation English Required

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree required
• Masters or equivalent preferred

Work Environment

• Currently night shift (Monday night to Friday night – 9PM to 6AM)
