Job Summary:
The Tax Associate works with the India Team Lead and Manager to extract invoices from client data identifies & enters sales tax information from invoices to an access or excel database. Format and reconcile the data with source data from the clients
Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
- Create a positive team experience.
Client:
- Proactive status work status update to International / India liaison
- Prepare reports as per the requirements from consultants.
Value:
- Downloading & extracting invoices from client networks
- Identifying and entering sales tax details from the invoices into a database
- Reconcile the values from different data sources
- Analyze data from invoices and submit a summary report.
Education and Experience:
- Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Business.
- 0 - 1 years of experience.
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work Environment:
- Current work hours are 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST. Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone and business need.
- Candidate should be willing to work on any shift.
- A reasonable amount of overtime will be required during peak season.
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees in India and US both via e-mail and telephone.
