About this role

As our Tax Accounting Manager, you'll bridge Group Accounting and Global Tax in a high-impact expert role. Partnering with Financial Controllers and regional finance directors across 16 countries, you'll ensure accuracy and completeness of our global tax figures.

Operating within a sophisticated corporate ecosystem leveraging Workday and OneStream, you'll shape our tax reporting process under IFRS, acting as a trusted advisor to cross-functional stakeholders across our international operations.

Location: Hybrid - Amsterdam office Reporting to: Senior Finance Leadership 

Hours: The role is open to part time (32/40 hours per week) 

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Take full ownership of preparing, reviewing, and consolidating current and deferred tax positions in accordance with IFRS (IAS 12) for quarterly and annual corporate reporting
• Deliver precise tax disclosures that meet the highest statutory standards and partner with Financial Controllers to align local tax figures with group-level reporting
• Analyze and implement the impact of national and international tax reforms (such as OECD Pillar 2 guidelines) on our IFRS financial statements and IAS 12 disclosures
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the review of tax positions, ensuring a seamless year-end process
• Maintain and strengthen our Tax Control Framework (TCF) in relation to tax accounting with quality and accountability
• Continuously improve and automate our tax reporting workflows, maximizing the capabilities of OneStream and modern Tax Technology
• Utilize data and tech to digitalize finance operations, aiming high to stay ahead of the competition
• Experience with providing support on broader IFRS and group reporting matters, such as technical accounting papers, financial statement reviews, and external reporting deliverables is a plus

What will you bring to the team?

• Proven track record in handling IFRS tax reporting for multinational organisations, preferably gained a complex, international corporate environment
• Deep and demonstrable knowledge of IFRS (IAS 12) and strong understanding of OECD Pillar 2 and international tax developments
• Hands-on experience or solid familiarity with Workday (ERP) and OneStream (consolidation) is a major advantage
• Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to non-tax stakeholders; Dutch is a plus
• Collaborative mindset with strong commitment to achieving goals while acting responsibly, and a proactive problem-solver who spots opportunities and owns results
• Passion for process excellence and a clear drive for leveraging technology to drive finance operations forward
• Professional qualification such as RA, CPA, or ACCA is a plus
