Job Description:
The Tax Accounting Lead is responsible for translating relevant accounting data into tax reporting (both internal and external). Additionally, they will collect and prepare data for transfer pricing calculations, such as profit splits and CUP analysis, while also supporting the implementation of Oracle Tax Reporting modules.
Role Summary:
Based in our Amsterdam office and reporting directly to the Global Head of Taxes in Geneva, this role focuses on ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance. It involves preparing and analyzing data for transfer pricing, including profit splits and CUP analysis, as well as contributing to the implementation of Oracle Tax Reporting modules
Key Responsibilities:
Support Oracle implementation (Tax provision, P2 and CBCR modules).
Monthly review of the tax provision and perform analysis.
Provide tax accounting training to the accounting teams.
Support IFRS and local GAAP audits in respect of tax questions.
Perform CUP analysis.
Monthly refresh of profit split calculations and perform analysis.
Quarterly refresh berry ratio and RONA calculations.
Support preparation of Masterfile, Local file.
Support TP/tax audits with financial data.
Prepare CBCR and Public CBCR data sets.
Enhance use of Power BI to report ETR etc to management
Key Requirements:
5-7 years experience in Tax accounting, within an international company
Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices; knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS
CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent accounting certification
Experience with Oracle TRCS (preferred).
Proficient in MS Excel and Power BI.
General understanding of tax accounting and transfer pricing.
Willing to take initiatives
Conscious and methodical in approach
High degree of integrity and sincerity and the ability to inspire confidence
Ability to understand complex situations with a good eye for details
Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English
