Eucalyptus (or 'Euc' for short) is an Australian-founded digital healthcare company that is on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. This will mean taking on the biggest healthcare challenges, on a global scale - providing 360o everyday support to tackle chronic conditions, like obesity, diabetes, fertility, menopause and overall well-being.
What we have achieved so far
🚀 Launched 5 demographically tailored brands and facilitated over 1 million medical consultations worldwide (Juniper, Pilot, Kin, Software, & Compound).
🌍 Built a team of approaching 500 Eucalypts in 6 countries (🇦🇺🇬🇧🇩🇪🇯🇵🇵🇭🇿🇦) consisting of medical practitioners, engineers, operators and many more functions!
💰 Raised over US$100M funding from the same investors who backed Canva, Uber, and AirBnB.

About the role (What you’ll be doing)
- You will manage our global tax obligations across the UK and DE (and additional markets as we expand) for indirect (GST/VAT), income taxes and fringe benefits taxes.
- You will facilitate the maintenance and adherence of the group transfer pricing policies, royalties and interest agreements.
- You will own the creation and maintenance of all tax related policies and processes, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
- You’ll be the subject matter expert on all tax matters as they arise and be the key contact internally and with our external advisors.
- You’ll support the annual audit and financial statement preparation with deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
About you (Who you are)
- 3-5 years experience working in tax in the UK (either in-house or at a chartered firm)
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience managing tax compliance in multi-company and cross jurisdictional corporate groups
- Experience with transfer pricing and tax law interpretations
