Purpose and Impact:
This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs and funding availability. We are seeking an experienced and mission-focused Targeting Analyst to support U.S. Government intelligence and operational targeting missions. The Targeting Analyst develops, analyzes, and maintains targeting data and products to support operational planning and execution across the full spectrum of military and intelligence operations. This position requires strong analytic skills, knowledge of targeting methodologies, and experience operating within Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) environments.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to integrate multiple intelligence sources, apply established targeting frameworks, and produce accurate, actionable targeting products in support of national security objectives.
As a Targeting Analyst, you will directly contribute to mission success by enabling precise, informed, and lawful targeting decisions. Your analysis will support operational effectiveness, reduce risk, and help safeguard national security interests across a wide range of mission environments.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeting analysis to support intelligence and operational missions
- Develop, maintain, and assess target systems, networks, and entities
- Apply doctrinal targeting processes (e.g., F2T2EA or equivalent) to mission requirements
- Integrate multi-intelligence discipline data to support target development and validation
- Produce targeting products, assessments, and briefings for operational stakeholders
- Support mission planning, execution, and battle damage assessment activities
- Collaborate with analysts, planners, collection managers, and operational teams
- Ensure targeting products comply with applicable DoD, IC, and command-level policies
- Maintain awareness of adversary capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational patterns
- Safeguard classified information and adhere to all security and handling procedures
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: The position supports sensitive operations and demands strict adherence to IC analytic standards, information security requirements, and professional ethics.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

- Experience producing targeting packages and operational decision-support products
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications, including briefings
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, classified environment
- Proficiency with standard office tools and intelligence systems
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and IC security and conduct standards
- Ability to complete and maintain required training throughout contract performance
- Availability to support CONUS and OCONUS missions as required
- Responsible for maintaining qualifications and training unless Government-directed
Security Clearance Required:
- TS/SCI eligibility with a favorable Tier 5 (T5) investigation
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s + 10 years’ experience
Minimum Years of Experience:
- 6 years intelligence or targeting experience; At least part of the required experience must be within the past two (2) years.
