This position is part of a strategic talent pool created to support future requirements across electrical design, project engineering, drives, automation, and commissioning for industrial projects.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
Execute basic and detailed electrical engineering activities for industrial projects.
Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), protection schemes, layouts, and calculations.
Perform electrical sizing calculations including transformer, UPS, battery, DG, VFD, earthing, lighting, and cable sizing.
Prepare and review equipment datasheets, specifications, layouts, and cable schedules.
Review, commission, and troubleshoot LV/MV drive and automation systems.
Support site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with project management, procurement, vendors, customers, and global engineering teams.
Qualifications for the role:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a reputed university (should be full-time)
5–15 years of experience in:
Electrical design and project engineering and/or
Commissioning, drives, and automation
Experience in industrial projects (process automation, energy, utilities).
Exposure to ABB drives or equivalent OEM systems preferred.
Experience in LV/MV electrical systems, Electrical design tools and calculations, Drives and automation systems
Should have worked in Commissioning and troubleshooting, technical documentation and stakeholder coordination
