About the Opportunity
The Talent Partner at Driscoll’s plays a crucial role in enhancing company performance by collaborating closely with business leaders, HR Business Advisors (HRBAs), and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to establish and implement a forward-looking talent strategy. This position will spearhead the talent agenda by gathering and analyzing internal and external talent data, identifying gaps, and supporting the company’s mid- and long-term strategies.
The ideal candidate will contribute both strategically and operationally to foster an agile and innovative culture, generating effective ideas and solutions across various business units. By partnering with HR and business leaders, this role will help identify emerging leaders and high-potential talent, utilizing diverse talent management tools and processes to guide their development and career progression, strengthening the company’s succession plan.
Responsibilities
• Develop Talent Strategy: Create a proactive talent agenda aligned with enterprise strategies, in close collaboration with HRBAs and HRBPs.
• Drive Talent Initiatives: Champion the talent agenda for the Business Unit, serving as a liaison for talent management, development and performance planning.
• Maintain Talent Data: Ensure accurate talent data is available to support talent reviews and succession planning and follow up on actionable insights from these reviews.
• Map critical skills: Work with the business, HRBPs and HRBA to identify critical roles and success profiles for each of them.
• Facilitate Talent Reviews: Plan and lead Talent Review sessions with senior teams, ensuring clear outcomes and strategic alignment.
• Succession Planning: Partner with business leaders and HR to build healthy and effective succession planning
• Identify High-Potential Talent: Collaborate with HRBPs and global leaders to identify and nurture high-potential talent, addressing skill gaps and preparing for future workforce needs
• Facilitate Internal Mobility: promote internal mobility programs that enable talent movement across business units, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Develop Critical Talent: Support the mapping and development of critical talent within the organization, understanding specific development needs and exploring options internally and externally.
• Deploy Talent Programs: Work alongside Learning & Development and HRBPs to implement talent programs and processes effectively within the Business Unit, creating and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Integrate Talent Data: Regularly connect with HRBPs and leaders to synthesize talent data across the business unit, driving initiatives that support business strategies.
• Consult with Leadership: Provide ad-hoc consultation to Senior Leadership on talent development related inquiries.
• Support Executive Reviews: Assist in the coordination and analysis of executive team talent review sessions.
• Engagement Survey Analysis: Collaborate with General Manager, HRBPs and HRBAs to analyze engagement survey results and develop actionable plans.
• Promote Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure a commitment to diversity and inclusion in all talent development initiatives.
• Manage Talent Development: Partner with HRBPs to identify and cultivate emerging leaders and high-potential talent using a variety of talent management tools
Candidate Profile
• Strong Talent & Human Resources acumen
• Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, influencing and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience leading Talent and Succession discussions, building talent strategies and facilitating talent movement
• Capable of establishing professional relationships & collaborating across teams
• Experience helping global and/or matrixed organizations scale
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices and policies
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical capabilities, effective at diagnosing organizational issues and demonstrated skills in use and application of data
• Accustomed to working in a fast-changing and dynamic environment where accountability, adaptability to change, urgency and responsiveness are valued
Requirements
• 6-10+ years’ experience in an HR Business Partner, Talent or equivalent role
• BA or BS degree preferred or commensurate work experience in HR
• Microsoft Office proficiency required
• Workday and Tableau experience, a plus
• Strong attention to detail, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities
• Possess excellent organization, communication, and project management skills
• English and Dutch language skills required
• Travel requirement: ~30%
