Role and Responsibilities
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be part of the HR Team (4 p.) which is responsible for all Human Resources activities of Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics B.V. (SELS) based in Delft. SELS is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics which functions as a logistics and financial control tower within SEC Europe, with a focused role in logistics & supply chain strategy, innovation and monitoring. SELS has approximately 110+ employees divided over various departments and locations within the Netherlands (Delft, Breda and Tilburg).
Your primary role will be to manage the entire recruitment cycle by attracting and selecting top talent and guiding new employees through their entire onboarding (and offboarding) processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support local business development initiatives and needs, by identifying talent across multiple functions, mainly in Logistics and Supply Chain Management job areas;
- Source candidates using multiple, efficient channels, to find the best talent with critical impact on the future success of SELS;
- Recruit in a fast-paced environment by working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to fully understand recruitment requirements and present short lists supported by arguments;
- Help build targeted candidate sourcing strategies to support proactive succession & talent pipeline, market intelligence and competitor insight projects;
- Write attractive and accurate vacancy texts;
- Set up and execute a new onboarding process;
- Attend recruitment events to network and build up talent pipeline;
- Actively contribute ideas about improvements in existing HR processes
- Supporting with operational HR tasks, if required;
Skills and Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate would fit the following profile:
Hard skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or other related study;
- Around 3-5 years working experience in a similar role;
- Passion for recruitment, strong social skills & high level of influence, necessary to communicate with candidates and a wide variety of internal customers;
- Recruiting experience and a network preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain related job areas or organizations;
- Fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel;
- Experience in HR Systems (Workday) is preferred;
Soft skills:
- Positive attitude and maturity,
- ability to adapt to different situations and communication styles;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Service minded;
- Detail oriented;
- Team player;
