Job Description

The Talent Development Officer ensures that all the generic training needs of all the departments are conducted & assists the operational Heads of Department in improving the performance levels of the employees, considering the DNA and ambition of the Constance Hotels Group.

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

  • Prepares the monthly calendar for generic training
  • Monitors the departmental monthly training calendar
  • Develops & implements Departmental Training Systems
  • Ensures that the internal trainers process operates effectively
  • Prepares the Annual Training Plan based on the budget
  • Monitors the actualization of the annual training plan
  • Coordinates with the training suppliers and Constance Hospitality Training Center on all external training activities
  • Establishes & maintains employee, supervisory and management records of training
  • Recording of all training delivered, Prepares monthly reports, and up date the Talent Development Manager on its status
  • Assists registration of training course on designated platform
  • Ensure that grant is registered within the framework and follow up for refund
  • Assists Department Trainers in preparing their training sessions, achieving training objectives and reviews on a monthly basis
  • Maintains standard hotel training equipment & training library of resources
  • Conducts Team members Orientation
  • Evaluates all on-the-job training
  • Contributes towards regional activities related to employee development as directed by the Senior Management from time to time
  • Assists in the implementation at employee level of all the quality concepts introduced at the corporate level
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Under graduate + Additional  training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus. 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry.
  • Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.

Skills Required

  • Undergraduate degree plus additional training or certificates in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the hotel industry
  • Proven experience in top luxury resorts
