Job requirements
Aptia UK are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the continued growth of our UK pensions administration and consulting business.
Operating within a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment, this role will be responsible for delivering high-quality end-to-end recruitment across a range of professional, technical and operational roles.
The successful candidate will partner closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and translate this into an effective candidate sourcing and engagement strategy.
This role will be hybrid aligned to our London (City) offices, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
End-to-End Recruitment
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple role types, including pensions administration, actuarial, technology, operations, and corporate functions
Develop role-specific sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre, diverse talent
Conduct structured interviews and support hiring managers with assessment and selection materials
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build strong, credible relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders
Provide market insight, hiring advice, and realistic expectations on talent availability and timelines
Act as a subject matter expert on recruitment best practice
Sourcing & Attraction
Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networks, referrals and direct outreach
Support employer branding initiatives alongside the wider Talent Acquisition team
Manage relationships with agencies where appropriate, ensuring cost and quality control
Process & Compliance
Ensure recruitment activity complies with UK employment law, right-to-work requirements and internal governance
Effective use of Workday Recruiting to ensure meticulous accuracy of data, compliance and governance around position management
Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience
If this sounds like your ideal next role, here is what we’re looking for:
Proven experience in an in-house or embedded Talent Acquisition role
Experience recruiting within financial services, professional services, and/or within a fast-paced PE-backed environment
Strong direct sourcing capability across multiple disciplines
Passionate for delivering a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience
Excellent stakeholder relationship building and communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and cares about getting it right
Prior experience with Workday is desirable
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded with a strong sense of ownership.
