The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Allegro MicroSystems is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer management with the guidance from Total Rewards and collection of pre-employment requirements up to onboarding support. This role is crucial for identifying, attracting, and securing high-quality candidates across various functions who align with Allegro's culture and strategic objectives. The specialist will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional candidate’s experience and promoting Allegro as an employer of choice. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant data protection legislation and local employment laws throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment Management:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, team dynamics, and job requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse, top-tier candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, university partnerships (internship and cadetship), and employee referrals.
  • Handle the logistics preparation for onsite job fair, career fairs, internship and cadetship programs.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screening, including resume reviews and initial phone interviews, to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit with Allegro's values.
  • Administers pre-employment or technical exams to specific roles (DLs, Technician).
  • Manage the interview process, including scheduling, coordination, and providing timely feedback to candidates and hiring teams.
  • Endorse and monitor background check for selected positions.
  • Facilitate offer discussions, extend offers, and manage the negotiation process up to successful offer acceptance.
  • Coordinates with Company Clinic and monitors pre-employment medical exam results of the candidates
  • Tracking and collection of pre-employment documents, payroll bank application, including statutory government forms and other clearances.
  • Support onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

Hiring Manager Partnership:

  • To provide satisfactory and responsive recruiting support to hiring managers and team members
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, acting as a trusted advisor on recruitment best practices, and talent availability.
  • Provide guidance on interview techniques, and candidate assessment.
  • Ensure a consistent and fair hiring process that adheres to Allegro's policies and legal requirements.

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding:

  • Champion an exceptional candidate’s experience at every touchpoint, ensuring timely, transparent, and respectful communication. This directly aligns with "Customers First" value, treating candidates as valuable stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Allegro MicroSystems, effectively communicating our employer value proposition, culture, and career opportunities.

Data Management, Process Support and Improvement:

  • Timely processing of candidates within the time to fill or key performance indicators.
  • Utilize and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) [e.g., Workday, if applicable] to ensure accurate data entry, timely updating of Workday workflow status of candidates and track candidate progress and generate recruitment reports and analytics.
  • Consistently observe the cadence of sending weekly hiring reports to Hiring Managers/Hiring Partners to ensure visibility and alignment. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices in talent acquisition, and relevant employment laws.
  • Ensures that pre-employment documents are valid and complete
     

 Support for Other HR Functions:

  • Performs other tasks which may be assigned by immediate head
  • Actively partner with and provide support to other HR functions, including HR Operations, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and Learning & Development, on various projects and initiatives as needed to support the overall goals of the Human Resources department

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate or agency setting.
    • Prior experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and/or shared services center.
    • Proven experience recruiting for various levels and functions, with a strong preference for experience in the semiconductor, technology, or manufacturing industries.
    • Experience with global recruitment practices and diverse talent pools is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), e.g., Workday, Success Factors etc
    • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, and other creative methods.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
    • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, especially with confidential information.
